In our school all the students are known and addressed by their first names. That is the advantage of small groups. This personalized, reassuring approach is particularly appreciated by our boarders who rapidly develop a strong sense of belonging.

Whether they come from the City of Québec, from Rimouski, from Rivière-du-Loup, from New Brunswick, from Montmagny . . . our 12-to-17-year-old residents lead a busy daily life in a secure setting with an extended family, enriched by the continuing presence of experienced educators with whom they can share their joys, their sorrows, their worries, their successes. Lifelong friendships develop among the students.

In a friendly, safe, welcoming environment, more than a hundred boarders share the enriching experience of living in a group where the balance between studies and activities is given special importance.

Each new student is welcomed by another student who will accompany him or her and help smooth the way during the integration period. Our students have developed a strong feeling of belonging to the Collège and they know how to transmit and share this feeling.

Weekend Transportation:

  • For students going towards the City of Québec transportion organized by the Collège leaves the school Friday at 4 p.m. and returns Sunday evening.

  • For students going towards Rivière-du-Loup and as far as Mont-Joli, transportion organized by the Collège leaves the school Friday at 4 p.m. and returns Sunday evening.

  • Other transportation, following the same schedule and covering part of Témiscouata, is offered to students from this region.
An experienced team of educators ensures that there is always a reassuring presence for the boarders from 4 p.m. until the next morning. Structured study periods, cultural and sports activities, special outings are all part of this wonderful experience of life in a group. Tutors are assigned to students who are having difficulty in academic subjects or in their integration. For each specific need, personalized help is offered.

Gyulaine Massé, educator

We are the only boarding school east of the City of Québec to offer a residence for both girls and boys extending over the five years of secondary school. The numbers of boarders the college welcomes each year is actually increasing. Young people who decide to try the experience of being a boarder for a day adopt the idea of being a boarder at the school.
Boarder for a day . . . what a good idea!
